Suzanne has many years of experience as a courtroom advocate and brings a deep understanding of the realities of litigation.  Through her litigation work, she has seen firsthand the emotional and financial cost, delay and uncertainty that court proceedings bring for parties. 

Drawing on that experience, she is committed to assisting parties to resolve disputes through mediation, wherever possible. She provides a structured and constructive process in which parties and their advisors can engage openly, clarify the real issues in dispute and explore practical and realistic options for resolution. She is focused on helping parties identify outcomes that are workable and sustainable. 

Suzanne recognises that parties are often the best people to resolve the dispute. She believes that mediation provides an opportunity for them to reach informed and durable agreements, avoiding the risks and expense of litigation.  

There are many mediation styles and processes. One size does not fit all.  Suzanne likes to discuss with counsel their, and their clients’, expectations and what might work best for the particular circumstances.

Suzanne is Auckland based but is willing to mediate throughout New Zealand without any additional costs.
